02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Giffnock North Athletics Club exists to inspire and support people of all ages and abilities to get active, improve their health and wellbeing, and achieve their potential through athletics and running. We provide a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where young people, adults and families can engage in training, competition, and community events. With a dedicated team of coaches and volunteers, we develop athletes from grassroots to national level, while also promoting lifelong participation in sport. Our club plays a positive role in the local community by encouraging physical activity, building confidence and self-esteem, and fostering teamwork and personal development.
