Distribution of Community Benefit Funds from Windfarms to eligible communities in East Dumfriesshire area, by way of open grant application process.

Constitutional objectives

4.1 The distribution of Community Benefit from Windfarm monies and/or funds from other sources to community groups or organisations within the area of East Dumfriesshire to undertake projects which meet criteria agreed by the SCIO and the donor and which fall within the purposes of: 4.1.1 the advancement of education. 4.1.2 the advancement of citizenship or community development and sustainability (including rural or urban regeneration). 4.1.3 the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture and science. 4.1.4 the provision of recreational facilities, including public participation in sport, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. 4.1.5 the advancement of environmental protection or improvement.
