What the charity exists to do
Colinsburgh Community Trust manages and maintains Colinsburgh Galloway Library and Colinsburgh Town Hall, they provide facilities for the local population where a number of groups run classes and activities, they are also run as community cafes and food hubs.

Constitutional objectives
The charitable purposes of the Company are, for the benefit of Colinsburgh, Kilconquhar and the surrounding area, as defined in article 12, with the purposes listed below: (a) to conserve and manage, for the benefit of the community and the public in general, community land and related assets in the community following principles of sustainable development (b) to advance the education and wellbeing of the public by providing community use facilities, library services and promote appreciation of the arts and the wider environment and so improve the condition of life of the community (c) to provide, develop, manage and promote sports and recreational facilities and related activities available for the public generally (d) to encourage, promote and support literacy for all ages (e) to enable access to resources and services deemed appropriate to the advancement of education, training, learning, personal, physical wellbeing and community development by the provision of educational and social opportunities
