Constitutional objectives
The organisation?s purposes are: the prevention or relief of poverty the advancement of education the advancement of citizenship or community development the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended In furtherance of the above objects the organisation will: work with adults and young people to develop the work of the group. develop a programme of opportunities in lifelong learning and community engagement. promote the benefit of the residents of Sauchie by associating with the local authority, voluntary organisations and the community in a common effort to advance the development of community engagement in a programme of lifelong learning. develop a programme of activities for local residents that will address health, citizenship, and provide learning opportunities. promote new experiences for local people by encouraging attendance and involvement in activities of the group
