02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The Charity is set up to take on 30 acres of land and create and manage the land for the benefit of indigenous wildlife as a nature reserve and for the local community. The community will volunteer to assist in the management of creating varying habitats which in turn will encourage more wildlife and it is hoped will provide the community a tranquil place to engage with nature and improve overall health mentally and physically within the community.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of environmental protection or improvement by clearing, enhancing and maintaining the community woodland for the benefit of all residents of Willowpark and Meadowview estates 4.2 The advancement of environmental protection or improvement by ensuring the preservation and conservation of the natural environment and the conservation or protection of indigenous wildlife living within this woodland. 4.3 The advancement of environmental protection or improvement by enabling members and residents to come together as a community and protect this valuable biodiverse environmental green space
