Constitutional objectives

The objects of the Trust shall include the following:- (a) The relief of sickness, suffering and distress of those persons and their families, in particular of, but not limited, to young people suffering, or at risk from, chronic disease, mental health illness, disability, incapacity and terminal medical conditions in the Scottish Borders. (b) The advancement of education, for the public benefit in relation to and to raise public awareness of such diseases, illnesses, disabilities, incapacity and terminal medical conditions. (c) The promotion and support of community projects focused on improving the environment, nature and the conserving of wildlife, plantlife and fauna in rural habitats in the Scottish Borders. (d) Improvements in, accessibility to and the promotion and support of participation in sports and leisure pursuits for all in the Scottish Borders. (e) Supporting religious and faith focused organisations, their works and places of worship in the Scottish Borders. (f) Promoting the recognition and appreciation of historic buildings and those of architectural significance and supporting the promotion, maintenance and repair thereof within the Scottish Borders.
