What the charity exists to do
The Charity is a local expression of the Body of Christ, the Church, which acknowledges His Divine Headship, recognises His presence through the Holy Spirit, and regulates its practices according to the Holy Scriptures, the Word of God, where they also experience Him through the Holy Spirit. The Charity’s purpose is to the advance the Christian Religion and Community Development by knowing God ever more and making Him known, leading to the love and obedient service of God, with our whole heart, soul, mind, and strength and the love of our neighbours as ourselves. The Charity is committed to doing life together with the Lord Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, and with each other through the provision, encouragement, and promotion of Gathered Church Worship, study of the Holy Scriptures, prayer, discipleship opportunities, Biblical life and family help and other religious activities, including outreach to the community, visiting the lonely, the sick, and the dying.
