02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity is set up to address health needs and provide a number of services which support the people living in the DD9 Postcode area. This is partly by providing services ourselves and partly providing accommodation for outside agencies to carry out their work, such as Justice Team and HearMe counselling. By providing the community with services which otherwise are unavailable or not easily accessible we can improve the health both physical and mental of local people.

The organisations purposes are: 1. To advance Health and the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, or financial hardship or other disadvantage. 2. To Advance Health, through the provision of medical equipment and facilities and through the provision of relief to those suffering from illness. 3 To benefit the community through Economic Development, Regeneration, Health and Wellbeing, Social Wellbeing, Environmental Wellbeing, and Addressing Inequalities
