02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

As a village hall we provide meeting spaces and facilities for groups and organisations to hold their own activities. We do hold some of our own activities such and film and theatre nights and a community coffee morning and preloved shop.

  • the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended

Constitutional objectives

4.1 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, and only in relation to recreational facilities or activities which are available to members of the public at large. And in furtherance of the above purpose, we will carry out the following activities: • To provide sufficient funding to maintain and improve the fabric of the hall. 4.2 the advancement of citizenship or community development by promoting and supporting a sense of community pride through a number of initiatives and events, and the support of the community newsletter. In furtherance of 4.2 we will carry out the following activities: • To promote community spirit within the village of Kemnay and the surrounding area. • To deliver community based events in support of the aforementioned objectives. • To support the production and delivery of the village newsletter or other forms of local information sharing.
