What the charity exists to do

Kilmarnock and Loudoun Amateur Radio Club provides facilities and resources to encourage members and others to participate in educational and recreational activities relating to Amateur Radio and related technologies. This is achieved through regular meetings, on-air (radio) communication sessions, 'open to the public' events, emergency service radio communication exercises, practical electronics workshop sessions and other activities.

(b) Providing recreational facilities and organising recreational activities for the people of East Ayrshire and surrounding geographical area with the aim of improving the conditions of life for the people for whom the facilities or activities are mainly intended.
