What the charity exists to do
The charity was set up to promote the advancement of education, citizenship or community development and the advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. The charity organises an annual event involving pupils in their final year of primary education in Lewis and Harris where they are required to prepare and deliver a talk through the medium of Gaelic before a panel of two adjudicators to demonstrate their fluency in the Gaelic language, appropriate to their age.
