02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We help girls to develop in a safe environment, discover their values, find their voice and grow up better prepared to create a better world. We offer girls a structured programme in line with the Girlguiding Manual. We meet throughout the school year for a programme-based weekly meeting and also participate in various projects, trips and adventures out of the meeting place. We train and support our leaders to deliver the programme including safeguarding, first aid and risk management.
