02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The charity aims to provide recreational facilities and organise recreational activities, in each case with the object of improving the conditions of life primarily for people living within the community or communities served by such facilities — and to advance public participation in sport. The charity works closely with community groups and encourages people from all backgrounds to participate in the sporting and community opportunities. The hub provides a platform for the local sports clubs to develop their memberships and encourage more people to participate in sporting activities. The charity aims to provide a sports and community hub, whereby local sports clubs and community groups can access the facility in parallel to the anchor tenants who are St. Francis ABC and Lochee Harp J.F.C.
