The SCIO's purposes are to benefit the community of Upperton, which has a total of 80 residential houses all private, which comprises the postcodes for this area are ML6 7TS, ML6 7TP, ML6 7TW, ML6 7TP, ML6 7TN, ML6 7TR. Airdrie North electoral ward, North Lanarkshire Council ('the Community') with the following objects: The advancement of community development (including the advancement of urban/rural regeneration) within the Community. The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. But only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.
