02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Fun Little Education is a Scottish charity established to support the education, development and wellbeing of children and families, with a particular focus on bilingual and multilingual learning and maintaining Polish language and cultural heritage. We provide high-quality nursery care and education, a Polish supplementary school, language and educational classes, cultural activities, workshops and community events. We support children to develop their language, social and academic skills in a safe and inclusive environment, while helping families maintain strong links with Polish culture and integrate confidently into Scottish society. Our activities are delivered by qualified staff, teachers and practitioners and are supported by our trustees and volunteers.

Constitutional objectives

3.1 The charitable purposes of the SCIO ('the Charitable Purposes') are: 3.1.1 The advancement of education through the delivery of educational programmes and activities and by supporting Polish children living in Scotland to attend and learn through teaching Polish, English, History, Literature, Music, integration and any other relevant subject. 3.1.2 The advancement of heritage, to preserve and develop the culture and heritage of Poland by initiating, supporting and delivering projects celebrating and promoting Polish history, language and culture in Scotland and elsewhere. 3.1.3 The organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the polish community.
