Constitutional objectives
The objects of the CIO are to further such exclusively charitable purposes for the public benefit according to the law of England and Wales as the Trustees of the CIO shall in their absolute discretion determine. 4. APPLICATION UNDER SCOTTISH LAW Nothing in this CIO constitution shall authorise an application of the property of the CIO for purposes which are not charitable in accordance with section 7 of the Charities and Trustee Investment (Scotland) Act 2005.
