What the charity exists to do

OBJECTIVES AND ACTIVITIES Objectives and aims The organisation's purposes are: - To prevent or relieve poverty particularly among the women and their families in Berwickshire and to promote training, particularly among residents of Berwickshire and with particular reference to skills which will assist the participants in obtaining paid employment and developing their enterprise potential. - To advance education, employment and enterprise and in particular to promote opportunities for women who face poverty and multiple disadvantages. - The advancement of environmental protection or improvement and to increase social and environmental awareness. ReTweed advances learning, citizenship and community, particularly for the benefit of women and young people who experience poverty, isolation and exclusion in Berwickshire and the Scottish borders.
