What the charity exists to do
The charity is a heritage museum to record the history of railways in the North East of Scotland by display of a range of artefacts, photographs, audio-visuals and memorabilia relating to rail history in the Formartine and Buchan area of Scotland.

Constitutional objectives
4.1 To promote the advancement of the Arts, Heritage, Culture or Science by encouraging groups to visit the museum, organising Museum open days and through increasing awareness of the museum, the Formartine and Buchan Line and other forms of Transport in the North East of Scotland.
