02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Our charity is committed to empowering ethnic minority communities through diverse programs addressing the issue of financial hardship, mental health, and youth development. We alleviate financial pressures by providing aid, including food, utilities and financial guidance, thereby ensuring stability for families. We equip individuals with financial literacy skills to foster long-term financial stability. Our outreach programs for combating hate crime, domestic abuse and mental health are making an impact in these deprived communities. Our substance abuse program offers counselling, rehabilitation, and community support for recovery. We empower youths with mentorship, education, and career development opportunities, helping them unlock their potential. We continue supporting food banks in Edinburgh and Glasgow, ensuring food security for vulnerable families. Our wellbeing initiatives provide stress management workshops, self-care programs, and support groups.
