Constitutional objectives
4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The advancement of community development through promoting sport as a tool for change and as means of reducing social isolation and enhancing community cohesion, from grassroots level and upwards. 4.2 To promote public participation in sport by encouraging engagement from the most excluded in society, including women and girls, people with disabilities, those in lower socio-economic groups and older people. and 4.3 The relief of those in need by providing mental health and employability support to help people through key periods of transition, in particular to help individuals leaving professional sport to adapt to their changing circumstances.
