Constitutional objectives

The company's objects are to promote any charitable purpose for the public benefit in either the Defined Operating Area of local benefit and/or elsewhere as follows: 5.1 the relief of poverty, through addressing inequality by means of the provision of accurate and appropriate advice. 5.2 the relief of those in need, by providing a comprehensive advice service to those suffering by reason of age, ill-health, disability or financial hardship. 5.3 the advancement of citizenship and community development, through the inclusion of voluntary learning opportunities, providing individuals with appropriate skills to secure and retain employment by promoting and assisting vulnerable individuals to participate in and be included within society. 5.4 the advancement of human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation by ensuring that people do not suffer through ignorance of their human rights and by taking such actions required to redress the situation and to restore justice, 5.5 the promotion of equality and diversity of all members of society by promoting, campaigning and advocating their inclusion within society thus improving access to public facilities including health, education, housing and employment. which together are the Company's Objects and each one an Object. Where the Objects are being promoted outside the defined Operating Area of local benefit the Company may work with similar aims but shall at all times adhere to the agreed principles for the operation of Civil Rights First.
