02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Launch it Trust Dundee helps young people aged 18-30 facing barriers start and grow their own businesses. We offer mentoring, affordable workspaces and one to one support from a qualified Enterprise Manager.

Constitutional objectives

The company is set up with entirely charitable purposes and its objects are: 5.1.1 The relief of poverty through: 5.1.1.1 the provision of training and employment opportunities to assist in the transition into the labour market. 5.1.1.2 relieving and alleviating the effects of disadvantage for young people by delivering programmes of support to prepare and move them into positive destinations in society. 5.1.1.3 making young people economically useful through encouraging entrepreneurship, the provision of assistance (including financial assistance) and encouragement whilst their education is being advanced as aforesaid or whilst they are in the process of establishing new businesses or preparing for entering upon or engaging in a profession trade, craft or service. 5.1.1.4 relieving unemployment. 5.1.1.5 providing and supporting education, instruction or training in professions, vocations, industries, crafts trades or the skills needed in employment that allow them to successfully transition into further education, training or employment.
