What the charity exists to do
The EHAS is a coalition of housing environmental, fuel poverty, consumer and industry organisations calling for urgent action to transform Scotland's existing homes. We aim to shape the policy, regulatory and funding framework to end fuel poverty and reduce climate change emissions from our homes. We do this by carrying out and commissioning research, working with government and policy makers, and raising awareness through publications, campaigns and events.

The Charitable Purposes of the SCIO ('the Charitable Purposes') are to prevent fuel poverty and advance environmental protection and sustainability by researching and promoting improvements to the energy performance and efficiency of the existing housing stock in Scotland, often working with others to do so, in order to ensure that policy development, strategic decisions and relative outcomes are as effective as possible.
