What the charity exists to do
Our purposes, as recorded in our SCIO document are to advance, promote and support the education and interest of the public in the world-class contribution in the fields of shipbuilding and marine engineering, reflecting the outstanding and innovative history of the area and its environs relating thereto by the provision of a museum or museums to promote the permanent preservation of said related items

Constitutional objectives
4.1 to advance, promote and support the education and interest of the public in the world-class contribution of Clydebank in the fields of ship building and marine engineering, reflecting the outstanding and innovative history of the area and its environs relating thereto by the provision of a museum or museums to promote the permanent preservation of said related items 4.2 to exhibit to the public any items as aforesaid by means of temporary or permanent exhibitions and to demonstrate and assist in demonstrating to the public the design, construction working and operation of any such items by means of static or mobile displays 4.3 to provide study. library and rental facilities and reprographic audio reproduction and information services to any interested members of the public and generally to provide consultancy and administrative services all in connection with the furtherance of the foregoing objects 4.4 to promote the advancement of citizenship and community development
