The organisation's purposes are: The saving of lives, the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantages, in particular by the provision of transport of urgently needed blood, drugs, human tissues and other medical supplies between hospitals and blood transfusion banks primarily but not exclusively in the Grampian Region.
