02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Perth Road Runners is an athletics and running club. It exists to serve for all abilities of runner (although it is typically the case that new members are already running 5K for leisure). What we do is well outlined at http://www.perthroadrunners.co.uk/ (Home page). We organise and offer: a) training and coaching for our runners, b) open races for athletes across Scotland, c) internal club races and running events and those against rival clubs and d) social events. This we achieve through a Committee of 12-14 members and around 70 volunteers across the year.
