What the charity exists to do

Provide a community hub for the local and surrounding residents. It is essential to have such a place where people can get together in a rural environment

Constitutional objectives

The organisation's purposes are: 4.1To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the villages of Tarbrax, Auchengray and Woolfords, together with the area's outlying farms and cottages (herein referred to as 'the community') by the provision of Tarbrax Village Hall and Common as a community amenity. 4.2To associate together other organisations, inhabitants and statutory agencies, in the interests of social welfare to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life of the community, such facilities being available to the community at large. 4.3To manage and develop Tarbrax Village Hall and the land held in Trust to an adequate standard on an ongoing basis, on behalf of the community. seeking also to act as a co-ordinating body, in meeting the leisure, recreational and educational needs of the community.
