What the charity exists to do
To promote racial harmony by providing targeted information that can reduce the climate of fear, suspicion and distrust that tend to characterize the relationship between child protection organizations and many ethnic minority homes in Glasgow. To promote equality and diversity by cultural integration and increased participation of minority communities in Scottish society and also by facilitating discussions around socio-cultural issues that are peculiar to ethnic minority communities particularly of African background. And To advance in human rights, conflict resolution or reconciliation by creating awareness of what constitutes child abuse, neglect, domestic violence and good parenting.
