02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The aims and objectives of the Band are to provide facilities for and to promote participation in the continuous training of anyone interested in learning the highland bagpipe and drumming with emphasis on the younger generation and local community Maintaining strong links with the Ellon Branch of the Royal British Legion (Scotland) Affiliation with the Royal Scottish Pipe Band Association (RSPBA) and the NoS Branch of the RSPBA The entertainment of members of the public and various organisations to support their events and raise funds for Band equipment and other general expenses. Tuition takes place every Monday and Thursday Nights and is structured so that all levels are catered for to allow players to progress from beginner to being fully competent playing member of the band. Mondays 6.30pm - 7pm - chanter and drumming novices / beginners 7pm - 7.30pm - novice learners on chanter / drum 7.30pm - 8pm - advanced learners / full band member 8 pm - 9.00pm Thursdays 7.30 - 9.00pm

Constitutional objectives
