02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity was established recognising the importance of relationships to all individuals, and that young people who have experience of the care system sometime have not had the learning or opportunities to develop and maintain supportive relationships. We create communities of support, where people can receive support from experienced, qualified workers, or from other members of the community. We have created communities for people who are becoming parents, are students and who are transitioning from care. We have also developed programmes allowing young people still in the care system to explore the impact of their past relationships and develop new understanding and skills.
