The organisation's purposes are: (a)To advance outdoor education for young people between the ages of 5 and 21 (but not exclusive to those age limits) by holding photographic competitions and other events, by presentations relating to the charity?s purposes in schools, colleges, and universities within the geographical area of the United Kingdom, and by disseminating and sharing ideas, school lesson plans, and gathered data and information with conservation, educational/environmental publications groups and organisations, both public and private, internationally as well as within the United Kingdom (b)To advance the arts and culture by providing opportunities for young people between the ages of 5 and 21 (but not exclusive to those age limits) to enhance their artistic and cultural skillset by organising competitions and events which include visual and lyric composition and literary creation (c)By encouraging others pursuant to the objects set out above to engage in activities advancing the welfare of the natural environment and the lifeforms dependent on that environment
