Constitutional objectives

4.1 To support the personal, social, physical and emotional development of the young people of the economically and socially isolated communities of Dalmarnock, Parkhead and Bridgeton, East Glasgow by providing free to access high quality outdoor and amenity space. 4.2 To promote social inclusion for the public benefit by supporting children and families at risk from becoming socially excluded through the provision of free to access social space and informal support and supporting the social needs of children and families who are socially or economically excluded. 4.3 To advance the life and relief the needs of young people and their families and carers by providing a team of play-workers who: 4.3.1 support and enable free, child-lead play opportunities, provided in the interest of social welfare, designed to improve their conditions of children’s day-to-day lives. 4.3.2 support activities which develop children’s skills, capacities and capabilities, and enable them to develop a sense of their own agency and their role within their wide community create opportunities to give socially isolated young people access to a wide range of adults to extend their sense of hope and possibility 4.4 To advance the education and development of children and young people, predominantly in their early years the use of our outdoor nursery, by providing and supporting learning opportunities, resources and environments that promote intellectual, social, emotional and physical growth.
