What the charity exists to do
To enhance the lives of locals and visitors alike by making the area a better place to live and visit. We do this by delivering project that enhance this.

Constitutional objectives
4.1 To relieve those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability or financial hardship by carrying out activities such as developing existing social facilities and exploring the need for new services such as affordable housing, social care, tele-health etc. By exploring transport and other connectivity solutions and by any other activities which meet this charitable Purpose. 4.2 To advance heritage and culture by carrying out activities such as identifying a suitable facility to house the existing John O'Groats museum collection and create new supporting interpretation materials. By improving the coastal path from John O?Groats Mill to Duncansby Stacks and installing interpretative panels along the route and by renewing and improving the information panels at Duncansby Lighthouse. By encouraging the researching, recording and celebration of the history and culture of the area, including by providing panels containing informative and accessible local history details to help visitors interpret their surroundings and by supporting education and learning within the local community and by any other activities which meet this charitable Purpose. 4.3 The provision of recreational facilities and the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for both residents in the Dunnet and Canisbay Council Area and visitors to John O'Groats. By carrying out activities such as providing showers and bike racks for cyclists and walkers. By establishing an indoor/outdoor year-round activity programme and improving sport facilities in and around the village. By enhancing leisure and recreation facilities for adults such as providing community gym equipment in the village hall or restored mill and by any other activities which meet this charitable Purpose. 4.4 The advancement of citizenship or community development by offering business advice to new and existing businesses and by leasing buildings to new and existing businesses on favourable terms, providing said businesses offer.....
