02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

the charity oversees the maintenance of the village hall and provides a vital social hub for the well being of the community and visitors to the area. The hall is the respite centre for this section of the Main Highland Railway and also the A9. We provide emergency accommodation for travellers and residents when there is no other place for them to shelter during weather incidents. We fund raise and receive donations and apply for grants from agencies to carry out upgrades towards low carbon emissions and the CNPA Net Zero 2030 ambitions.
