to promote the welfare of disabled people in Scotland by ensuring that transport facilities and services are available to meet their needs. to advance education and research into transport issues, and to disseminate the knowledge gained from this research In furtherance thereof: to bring together individuals and representatives of statutory, voluntary and transport organisations. to discuss transport needs, identify existing services and highlight gaps in those services. to work with statutory, voluntary and transport agencies to enhance the effectiveness of services wherever possible. to make information available to individuals and groups. to promote, safeguard and improve the rights of disabled people.
