Constitutional objectives

The organisation's purposes are the relief of need through: 4.1 Providing support to migrants and new Scots to assist their transition to life in a new country, initially focusing on the Syrian community in Glasgow and aiming to widen support to all migrants and new Scots throughout Scotland. 4.2 Promoting cultural integration of migrants and new Scots through activities such as language classes, community events and practical support with paperwork required when establishing connections in a new community. 4.3 Promoting the education of migrants and new Scots through activities such as helping in applying to universities, colleges and other educational institutes. 4.4 Promoting the employability of migrants and new Scots through activities such as helping in developing their skills and expanding their knowledge of how to access the labour market. and 4.5 Such other activities as are considered by the directors to contribute to the wellbeing and quality of life of migrants and new Scots in Scotland.
