Constitutional objectives

The Charity's objects ('the Objects') are:- (a) to advance the Christian faith in accordance with the Statement of Beliefs appearing in the Schedule hereto in the United Kingdom or in such other parts of the world as the directors of the Charity (herein called 'the trustees') may from time to time think fit and in particular (though not by way of limitation) to establish-and maintain an evangelical Christian witness to students from other nations studying in the United Kingdom (or in such other country where the Charity might operate), and to fulfil such other purposes which are exclusively charitable according to the law of England and Wales and are connected with the charitable work of the Charity. (b) to relieve persons who are in conditions of need or hardship or who are aged or sick and to relieve the distress caused thereby particularly (though not by way of limitation) by providing material help and assistance to those persons mentioned in sub-clause (a) hereof who may be in conditions of need or hardship and to indigenous groups of evangelical Christians in developing countries of the world to encourage and assist them more effectively to make known the Gospel of Jesus Christ among the people of their respective nations.
