02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The organisation’s purposes are:4.1 To promote social inclusion to adults who reside within the West Lothian area, who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing depression, anxiety or related emotional and mental health issues.4.2 To work in partnership with local community health and social care services to identify adults experiencing or at risk of experiencing depression, anxiety or related emotional and 4.3 To devise and provide appropriate responses to support those experiencing mental health issues and help prevent the onset of mental health issues among those people identified at being at risk.4.4 To work to develop initiatives to support carers of adults with mental health issues which makes the most efficient use of existing resources and structures.
