The Organisation was formed to benefit the community of people resident in Thurso and in any other place who value Old St Peter's Kirk and who will work together to preserve the kirk and its environs, together with its history, culture and heritage (the 'Community'), with the following purposes (the 'Purposes'): 4.1 The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science including: The preservation, including restorative works, of Old St Peter's Kirk, Thurso and its graveyard for current and future generations. 4.2 The advancement of citizenship or community development (including rural or urban regeneration and the promotion of civic responsibility, volunteering, the voluntary sector or the effectiveness or efficiency of charities)
