Constitutional objectives

Objects 2. The association's objects are: (a) The advancement of environmental improvement in The Gambia by undertaking efforts to improve the country?s forest cover through reducing incidences of deforestation, bushfire prevention and redoubling efforts towards reforestation (b) The advancement of citizenship amongst Gambian youth by mobilising, educating and supporting them in efforts towards conserving and maintaining the country?s forests. (c) The advancement of education amongst young women in rural areas of The Gambia by teaching them about matters relating to intimate personal hygiene (d) The relief of poverty: i. amongst young women in rural areas of The Gambia through the organisation and distribution of free sanitary products in order to reduce the incidence of 'period poverty' within these areas, and ii. amongst low-income and destitute families in the Glasgow area thorough the organisation and distribution of free sanitary products in order to reduce the incidence of 'period poverty' within these areas .
