02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity was set up to provide the team sport of Powerchair football to wheelchair users in Ayrshire. Our players have a range of different physical disabilities including cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, and spinal cord injury. Members range in age from 10 years old to 50 years old. We run a 3 hour training session once a week and have a team playing in the Scottish Powerchair foootball league.

Constitutional objectives
4.1. The organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for who the activities are primarily intended through participation in sport. 4.2. The advancement of Public Participation in Sport by: Developing strong relationships across the private, public & voluntary sectors. 4.3. The promotion of equality and diversity by: To encourage disabled people to participate in powerchair football and associated activities, thus encouraging inclusiveness within society. 4.4. To offer coaching and competitive opportunities in the sport of powerchair football. 4.5. To increase participation in the sport of powerchair football. 4.6. To develop volunteers. 4.7. To promote grassroots through performance and development 4.8. To promote the organisation within the local community. 4.9. To promote the sport of powerchair football across Ayrshire.
