02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We provide activities for people of all ages in their own communities as near to them as possible, encouraging individuals to positively participate in their communities and encourage communities to get together. We help alleviate the effects of poverty and other disadvantage that individuals and communities face. We provide youth clubs and teen sessions for those in primary and secondary schools, Messy Play sessions for under 5s, and craft activities for adults. We encourage these groups to participate in community events, make community displays and invite organisations such as CAB in to speak to groups to help with issues they face. We provide sessions for all ages that help with soft, life and employability skills. We distribute food to those who would rather not see food go to waste.
