Constitutional objectives
To promote across society matters that benefit both human and animal health and the advancement in the treatments, therapies, medicines and procedures available to humans and animals in tandem, for the public benefit, by all or any of the following means: a. Advance awareness and campaign for change to regulation, control, policy arid legislation in matters that benefit both human and animal health by addressing and influencing the general public and parties deemed by the charity to be relevant. b. Foster collaboration between human and veterinary medical practitioners and academics, through the sharing of knowledge and experience from clinical practice in matters with direct or potential reciprocal benefit to the health and wellbeing of both humans and animals. c. Education in matters of clinical relevance to both human and animal health. d. Direct and indirect involvement with research in areas of relevance to both human and animal health. e. The advancement of treatments, therapies, medicines and procedures for the reciprocal benefit of both humans and animals by any other means. f. The progression of awareness, collaboration and education in matters that benefit both human and animal health by any other means. As a consequence, to relieve the unnecessary suffering of animals and preserve the good health of humans and animals.
