02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Moray Road Runners is a community sports club that provides opportunities for people age 9+ to enjoy the benefits of running, training and competitive sport. We provide weekly training sessions, organise local road and xc fixtures, participate in local, regional and national events, work in partnership with others for the betterment of sport and assist other organisations with the sustainability of events such as parkrun and Active Schools.

The Club will operate as a non-profit distributing charity whose principal objectives are: (a) The advancement of public participation in Athletics as a sport. (b) To provide recreational facilities and/or organise recreational activities, available to members of the public at large, with the object of improving the conditions of life.
