02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Leave a long-lasting legacy, by helping to create and sustain communities where people are inspired to live healthier and happier lifestyles and are given the opportunity to reach their full potential. The Foundation aims to be a force for good through the delivery of a range of local and national projects including community regeneration projects, education, training and employment opportunities, promotion of social inclusion and through organising and supporting charity and fundraising events.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are the raising of funds and making donations and supporting and subscribing to any charitable or public object throughout the United Kingdom and elsewhere in connection with the following : 4. 1 The prevention or relief of poverty. 4.2 The advancement of education and encouragement of education projects in the community at large. 4.3 The advancement of health including the prevention of or relief of sickness, disease or human suffering. 4.4 The saving of lives. 4.5 The advancement of citizenship or community development. 4.6 The provision of recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the person for whom the facil ities or activities are primarily intended. 4. 7 The advancement and promotion of religious or racial harmony. 4.8 The promotion of equality and diversity. 4.9 The advancement of environmental protection or improvement. 4.10 The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. 4.11 Any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes.
