What the charity exists to do

LVHCM provides facilities for local organistions to hold events for the well being of the local residents in the village hall.

Constitutional objectives

4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. In furtherance, the organisation will: 4.2 Maintain the heritage of the village hall and ensure it is an asset to the community it serves. 4.3 Be fair and equitable to all members and non-members who make use of the asset and ensure that they understand the rules, regulations and governance always. 4.4 Where necessary, act to maintain the integrity and the security of the hall and look for ways to make the hall more Eco friendly. 4.5 Ensure the good management of Longformacus village hall as a well-run facility for the benefit of the community of Longformacus and environs, and the neighbouring villages of Cranshaws and Ellemford. 4.6 Ensure that events, classes, meetings, social gatherings etc. have a local venue accessible to all. 4.7 Fundraise for the running of the hall.
