The charity aims to make Thurso a better place to live, work and visit through community led sustainable development. We achieve this by taking a proactive approach as a community anchor organisation and develop projects based on evidenced community needs.

Constitutional objectives
4 The SCIO's purposes are to benefit principally the community of Thurso and surrounding area which comprises of the Thurso Primary School catchment area defined in the postcode ranges of KW14 7A-P. KW14 7QA - L,Q,S,X. KW14 7RS, KW14 7SH-N. KW14 7SW. KW14 7UB-Y. KW14 8A-R. KW14 8TQ ('the Community') with the following objects: 4.1 The advancement of community development (including the advancement of urban regeneration) principally within the Community. But only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.
