02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We are a fairly typical Scottish Men's Shed. We have a workshop space, and a social space. Apart from our own activities, we do a lot for the community (Village hall maintenance, local footpath maintenance, assist the local schools when requested, and such like).

Constitutional objectives
2.1 The aims (objects) of the Shed are: (a) To provide recreational facilities or organise recreational activities aimed particularly ? though not exclusively ? at men, with the aim of promoting their social inclusion (b) To promote good health and wellbeing to its members through active participation and, from time to time, providing opportunities for relevant health organisations to raise awareness of good health strategies for the benefit of members or the community
