What the charity exists to do

To benefit the community of Cove and Altens and surrounding areas by providing recreational facilities, services for the advancement of social needs, health and well-being of men of all ages (18+), and backgrounds, living in the area. By: Creating, developing and maintaining a facility, namely a Men's Shed. Allowing men in the area to meet and undertake creative, physical, purposeful and recreational activities of their choice. Developing the capacity of men in our area to share their skills and knowledge with others in the community. Offering services to the wider community and thus, increase social integration

The Organisation has been formed to benefit the community of Cove and Altens and surrounding areas for the purpose of providing recreational facilities and services for the advancement of social needs, health and well-being of men of all ages, and backgrounds, living in the area of Cove and Altens and surrounds. (This is defined as the area South of the River Dee and within the boundary of Aberdeen City Council) By: Creating, developing and maintaining a facility, namely a Men's Shed. Offering opportunities for men in the Cove and Altens and surrounding area to meet and undertake creative, physical, purposeful and recreational activities of their choice Reducing isolation of men in the area thus contributing to their physical and mental well-being. Developing the capacity of men in the Cove and Altens and surrounding area to share their skills and knowledge with others in the community. Offering services to the wider community and thus, increase social integration
