02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Stirling County Rugby Football Club provides rugby, sport and recreational facilities at Bridgehaugh Park for the local community and surrounding areas. The Club promotes public participation in rugby union for children, young people and adults through mini, youth, academy, men’s and women’s rugby, coaching, training, school and community activity, holiday camps and access to facilities. The Club also provides a social and community hub, with premises and facilities used by members, non-members and local groups. Its purpose is to improve health, wellbeing, skills development and social connection through rugby and recreation, open to the wider community without distinction.

Constitutional objectives
3.1 The Charitable Purposes of the Club ('the Charitable Purposes') are: 3.1.1 to advance public participation in sport, particularly the sport of Rugby Union Football, so as to improve the health and well-being of a wide range of participants. 3.1.2. to provide, develop, manage and promote recreational facilities and related recreational activities available to the public generally. 3.1.3. to provide education, coaching and training in relation to sport, fitness and related skills to broaden the development of individual capabilities of children, youths, young adults and adults. and 3.1.4. to work with those involved in sport, particularly the sport of Rugby Union Football, in relation to all or any of these Charitable Purposes.
